History:

The Society was formed in 1926 for the young people of Meersbrook Park Congregational Church. Over the years we have become one of the few societies that solely present the Gilbert and Sullivan comic operas.

The shows used to be presented in the 'tin hut' on Chesterfield Road and then in the schoolroom off Beeton Road. However just over 10 years ago our church was condemned and we moved to Norton Parish Hall. A few years later this was sold and houses are now on the site. We then moved to our current location at Dronfield Civic Centre.

We rehearse in our in our new church building but will be staying at Dronfield Civic Centre for the show.
