William received the award for Best Supporting Actor at the 2014 International Gilbert & Sullivan Festival in Harrogate, England for his portrayal of Sillimon in the Baker/Henty performing edition of Thespis.

As a Music Director, he led the cast of SavoyNet's Utopia at the 2016 Festival, receiving the award for Best Concerted Item for Eagle High.
