We are looking (urgently) for a Robin/Ruthven and a Richard Dauntless for our next show Ruddigore.
We are Marton Operatic Society, an amateur Gilbert & Sullivan group based in the Fylde Coast area of Lancashire. We rehearse in Blackpool and perform our annual G&S show at Lowther Pavilion in Lytham St Annes. Our show will be from Tuesday 6 to Saturday 10 November, five evening peformances and a Saturday matinee. Band Call and Dress Rehearsal are on 4 and 5 November.
Having held our principal auditions and checked various local possibilities, we have been unable to cast Robin or Richard. You will appreciate that these parts are rather crucial to the show!
