Crosby Gilbert and Sullivan Society

Welcome to the site of the Crosby G&S Society. Crosby G&S has been established for over 50 years in Crosby, North Liverpool, UK. We are an amateur society putting on a full production of one of W.S.Gilbert and Arthur Sullivan's shows each year, as well as a number of concerts throughout the year.
We are always looking for new venues and opportunities. We can tailor a performance to suit the occasion, and can either bring the whole company or a smaller ensemble as required. Our repertoire is predominantly G&S but we add variety by including items from other works of the same era and quality. Let us know if you have any special requests!  The society boasts a strong membership but we are always looking for new blood to join us in helping on and behind the stage. If you would like to see life on the other side of the footlights, why not come along to a rehearsal and see what we're like?  We are particularly looking for altos and tenors to rebalance the mix within the society.  Anyone over 16 is welcome to apply - send us an email if you are interested and we can give you more details.
We meet every Thursday evening at Christ Church Hall, Crosby Road South, Waterloo (next door to the Police Station).  Visit any rehearsal to see what we are like before committing yourself to joining us.  If you would like to get involved but don't fancy acting, you can just sing in concerts or help out back-stage.
