Martin Milnes has a tenor range up to top D and a soprano range up to top D sharp. In his one man show he sings soprano songs from musical theatre and opera at pitch in their original keys. He has appeared at the Edinburgh Festival, The Pheasantry in Chelsea, The Kings Head in Islington, the International Gilbert and Sullivan Festival in Buxton, the Players Music Hall Society, The Noel Coward Society and various private functions.
"The Falsetto Sings Gilbert and Sullivan" is a specialist show created for the International Gilbert and Sullivan Festival. Martin performs tenor, patter and soprano arias from the Savoy Operas, linked with dialogue using quotations from G&S shows.
Martin's directing credits include the first ever professional revival of The Grand Duke, at the Finborough Theatre in London.
